Seeing the mirage comic Turtles was the only thing I liked about this special. The way they portrayed the 80’s cartoon Turtles was mean-spirited and only to make the 03 Turtles look “cooler”. Saying “Cowabunga” is lame but saying “what the shell” every 2 minutes is cool? For the record, there’s a lot I liked about the 03 series, but I thought the script was sometimes bland and the designs somewhat pretentious. The 2012 series is my favorite Turtles cartoon. 2003 Turtles was the best series they made. The best designs, good animation, mostly great stories, amd they felt the closest to the original comics. I love this movie though. Seeing the original comic turtles animated was great. I wish they would do an adult animated film or series with the original turtles.

2003 Turtles was the best series they made. The best designs, good animation, mostly great stories, amd they felt the closest to the original comics. I love this movie though. Seeing the original comic turtles animated was great. I wish they would do an adult animated film or series with the original turtles.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, if you were smart, you would get with Nickelodeon and make a sequel to TMNT: Out of the Shadows and get Hailee Stanfeld to play April O'Neal. The second reboot movie was getting better when Bebop and Rocksteady, and Krang finally got into a movie. Plus, don't leave the plot hanging, with Shredder frozen and left in Dimension X. Granted the 87 ones were silly and goofy, yet spawned some the best ninja turtle villains not named Shredder ever. Surprised Krang and 87' Shredder didn't call upon Krang's rock soldiers to help 03' Shredder out. Would've probably given a good reason to pull in 87' Casey Jones who still is the best Casey Jones.
