Honestly doesn’t look good to me. Jim Carey made the Grinch better in my opinion and that’s hard to top. Plus the voice doesn’t sound right to me either. Always loved Jim Carey. As Count Olaf, Grinch, the Mask, Pet Detective etc… No one can outdo his performances. But hey, this is Benedict Cumberbatch!! Lighten up, people! So, anyone else thinks this Grinch just isn’t THE GRINCH? I guess for younger audiences, it works. But I prefer Jim Carrey. This Grinch is just a bit too weak. It’s like putting Gru in a green suit and going “this won’t work but let’s go ahead”.
