My husband is a UPS Driver and oh the stories when we lived in South Carolina his route was in Hilton Head he would deliver in this gated neighborhood and he said as soon as he entered there was this dog that would ride with him the entire route and when he was exiting the neighborhood the dog would get out at the gate I thought that was Hilarious he ate his treats along for the ride as well.
I retired from UPS in February after 26 years- and the ONLY thing I miss- are the dogs on my route. They always waited for me and my treats. I worry about some of the old ones, and some that were tied outside all of the time- I always took time to give them love. So- I miss them .... a lot.
I deliver meals on wheels with my mom every Friday. We bring treats for their dogs and cats because they are their constant companions and deserve a treat! It's funny because they always tell us their animals know what day we deliver because they sit at the door waiting on us! 💜 keep up the wonderful work!

We live in an apartment community and for a time received many ups deliveries. My dog Winston at first couldn't stand our driver, but even without treats the guy won Winston over. He'd see the truck, whine in happiness and run to the door to wait for the knock of his new friend coming to see him. Our deliveries stopped, but our many neighbors (23 other units in our building) didn't. Winston was so disappointed that the knock stopped coming on our door. The next Christmas season by the deliveries started up again, but alas the driver had changed! A bit of the magic was gone. But Winston still loves ANYONE who delivers pizza to us, so there's that.
