All is well with me! Five days after surgery and other than the first 48 hours (where I felt like I’d been hit with a sledgehammer in the stomach), I feel good. Still sore and the largest incision has a huge bruise around it, but the other three are small. Walking around and back at work reading page proofs for NOTHING TO HIDE. Only two small hiccups: first, I’ve been napping. I NEVER nap, but I’m not sleeping well at night so have to make up for it I guess! And I can’t sit more than an hour in any one position, so it’s a lot of getting up and finding different places to read my proofs. An hour at my desk, an hour on the couch, 30 minutes standing at the bar … hahaha. Seriously, though, I’m stunned by how many people have told me they’ve had their gallbladder out.
