I feel the pain you express and I share your feelings about religion, but I will say something to the one I believe in. It hurts to see someone go that way and I can’t change what happened, all I can do is offer my condolences. I am sorry. When a loved one passes away from natural causes, illness, fatal accident, etc. grief ensues. Loss of life is never taken lightly. Loss sucks. Grief sucks even worse. Grief from suicide loss is a whole different animal. Not worse, but different. My memories are now tainted with thoughts like, “What did I miss?” and “What was in his mind then?” and of course “Was his decision already made at that moment?” I wish I had nothing but pure, happy thoughts in the final days but I don’t. I have doubts, remorse, regrets, guilt, great sadness, the list goes on.
