Great word today. Loved how you left out the small details. I was thinking hmmm a helicopter blade only split the fingernail that doesn’t sound right. But who knows I wasn’t there. Made me think of this injury I had years ago when I was 13. I broke my finger by catching a basketball with one hand. I was so embarrassed that it broke by just catching the ball that I just said I was playing basketball and broke my finger and didn’t say anything else. Looking back at it I can laugh now though.
