We get care conference meetings with like 15 people… Come up with ideas and plans to move forward with and then half of it goes out the window after a couple shift changes. They even had me write on super large paper info to help the nurses but many don’t take the time or have the time to even notice let alone read it. The sad honest truth is that this has been happening to us everywhere. Its a very broken system to begin with and then you get the bad eggs in there who are careless or too big headed to listen to us. There is also a major concern with housekeeping in these hospitals and once you’ve been here for weeks straight you notice and see everything. It is very unsanitary. There’s been a fingerprint on the elevator door button for almost 2 weeks now. Pretty obvious it doesn’t get cleaned. Even the nurses complain about room not properly being cleaned. They come to clean but really only empty trash and sometimes run a mop on some parts of the floor. It is frustrating and scary when you think about ALL germs in this place and knowing your child is at great risk from all it.
