I like to believe that I and my Minnie mouser have a special bond. My babies are all grown up and it’s like she knows I need her to be a lie closer to me these days. I’ve had dogs and cats at one time or another. Each has been a wonderful friend and companion. Right now I have a rescue cat, a gray striped tabby named Rennie. She was found coming out of the woods, by my daughter when she was jogging early one morning. She brought this tiny, hungry kitten home and Rennie fit right in from day one. Rennie will always be my baby, although she’s around 7-8? months old now and is loved by her big brother, Henri Kittay. I call her my ‘therapy kitty’ as when I have anxiety attacks she will come up and lay by me, fuss over me like she knows what’s going on and calms me down.
