Two more beds are in. The plants got so big that I some of them have started to bend down. I had a hard time to put them into the ground. I also planted the first eggplants of the year. The eggplants are from the seeds that I saved last year. It is exciting! A couple of tall plants are bolting carrots. I left them for seeds and flowers for bees. They insanely attract bees in summer. I leave 2 feet between my tomato plants this year – wider than last year’s. I am going to see how this spacing works. If they are invaded with foliar diseases again, I will consider spacing them up to 3 feet next year.
