Tonight our family went to see The Grinch at The Big Mo Drive-In. I love the original Grinch cartoon. I did not like the Ron Howard/Jim Carrey version at all. So, I went into this one extremely skeptical. I was not expecting to like it honestly. I was pleasantly surprised by the humor and especially the ‘heart’. I’m usually always a sucker for movies with ‘heart’ (that element of people doing incredible good and showing love to others). I actually leaned over to Katie at one point during the movie and said, “I just realized what the Jim Carrey version was missing…” and she knew it and said it – “heart”.
